During my time at the Romo Group, I was given various PR and marketing related responsibilities. My main role was managing the social media accounts for the five individual brands which came under The Romo Group. These included Twitter, Instagram and Facebook channels. I also created close press relations with various representatives from publications such as Elle Decoration UK, Living Etc, and Wallpaper*. This was done by dealing with their press requests, communicating daily regarding magazine content, and directly supplying fabric samples for upcoming features. I was also responsible for documenting press coverage using InDesign and MS Excel. Finally, I was responsible for a number of admin tasks, such as dealing with email responses, newsletter distribution, and daily office chores.

As a research journalist for The Sunday Times Magazines, I used various web applications to conduct this research, such as Factiva and Tracesmart. This required close attention to detail and hard work. I was also able to sit in on interviews, and then transcribe these interviews.
