Involved with Pre-Production processes of several music concerts and gigs taking place in Glasgow and Edinburgh throughout 2019. My role required high attention to detail to ensure the feasibility of these events by creating the budget proposals for the clients. My responsibilities included: visiting possible sites/ venues and reasoning the financial & logistical viability, identifying the transportation infrastructure for these events to run successfully. The budget proposals also considered; time-scales, layout and design, legislation, suppliers, building liaison and last but not least emergency services

The Common Guild, The Pipe Factory, Gsa Mfa Studios & An Apartment

studio : WORKS invited the audience to three artist's studios to view newly commissioned artworks by artists Sabe Lewellyn (US), Dougie Blane (UK) and Simon Weins (GER). The works showed how each individual studio influences varied ways of art production, thus showing differences in creative response. Different from traditional open-door studio events, studio : WORKS allowed the audience to engage with finished works manifested in the various studio settings. This project held a conclusive talk by artist Scott Myles (UK) at The Common Guild. My resposibilities included: developing, planning and delivering four public events, constantly liaising with participating artists, sourcing and providing technical equipment needed, identifying and securing placement of works, marketing projects on social media platforms, creating and designing three-fold exhibition pamphlet, hosting evening openings, identifying risks and health and safety issues and ensuring creative problem solving, handling all logistic and operational procedures for the production and post-production

I provided curatorial assistance for two of Glasgow Print Studio's exhibitions titled; 'INK: Public Archive Five Decades of Printmaking at the Glasgow Print Studio' and 'The Law of Materials'. For these public exhibitions I helped deliver the shows successfully with administrative support and supervision. My responsibilities included: researching potential artist candidates, collecting artist biographies and statements of artists involved, plugging in information onto their database, working and handling with their archives, creating exhibition build schedules, mediating between artists, technicians and the gallery, supervising installation and negotiating placement of works in the gallery, compiling artist statements for press release and exhibition booklet, inviting and hosting conclusive video interviews with involved artists

In/Human: The Body as Resource was a one-day event at Kelvin Hall featuring work by Kathryn Ashill (UK), Sarah Browne (UK), Christian Fogarolli (ITL), Michael Grey (US), and Anja Kirschner (DE) and David Panos (GR). The event concluded with a special screening of a film piece by Marcel Broodthaers (BE).In/Human: The Body as Resource was a hybrid of performance, screening and symposium, which explored our understanding of the body and how its evolution is accelerating towards an unknown, post human horizon. The works assembled consider how science, technology and media co-opt individual bodies to monetise expertise, produce ideology and generate content. The day event had centred on themes present in the objects collected by William Hunter (1718-1783) upon which The Hunterian was founded.My responsibilities included: creating concept and selecting artists, negotiating permissions for placement of works around Kelvin Hall building and Gillmore Hill Center Cinema, running and monitoring budget control, managing production team and artists, sourcing and providing technical equipment for film screenings and other installations, facilitating and receiving transportation of work and equipment, creating and scheduling production build, creating timeline of event programme, signing off on risk assessments, health and safety reports, invoices and insurances, liaising with building administrators and reporting updates on event, presenting site inductions for production team and artists, promotion of event, booking flights and accommodation, monitoring and supervising department's job tasks

PEEPHOLES was an exhibition of new installation, film and photo works by Glasgow School of Art MFA artists Cara Bonewitz (US), Lucas Mascatello (US) and Cameron Orr (UK). PEEPHOLES was a self initiated project and acted as a platform for student artists to show new work outside of their studio space, enabling their practice to embody and manifest itself into a new and welcoming exhibition space.This exhibition seeked to be an engaging event which allowed for refreshing dialogues to emerge between the audience and exhibited works.My responsibilities included: securing artists and place of exhibition, providing equipment and props needed, creative problem solving with logistic and operational matters, scheduling and attending weekly studio meetings between participating artists and myself and offering curatorial support and artistic direction, identifying installation layout and supervising installation build, creating and designing exhibition pamphlet, hosting opening evening and arranging invigilators

Co- Curator with Jessica Piette for contemporary exhibition 'The Way We Know Things'. This exhibition was realized and delivered to serve as a meeting point for various departments of The Glasgow School of Art to come together. 'The Way We Know Things' was a collective multidisciplinary exhibition containing works by students of the MFA course; Cara Bonewitz (US), Corinna D’Schoto (US), Maria Gondek (DK) and Sabe Lewellyn (US) at the Glasgow School of Art. This exhibition presented the different ways in which the artists process their environment, responding to their surroundings through their practice. Their work is inspired by their new experiences of Glasgow, including a site specific installation and live work, as well as sculptures and paintings.

Exhibition Coordinator for Art Souterrain's 8th Modern Art Festival in Montreal 2016. Responsible for delivering exhibition at the Palais des Congrès Building. Art Souterrain is a non-profit organization founded in 2009, showcasing every year international contemporary art institutions, artists, and the architectural and cultural heritage of downtown Montreal’s underground city. Opening February 27 during Montreal’s Nuit Blanche, the 2016 edition of the festival showcases, over its three weeks, 63 works by 86 Canadian and international artists, on display throughout 13 sites of the underground city As a unique contemporary art festival in North America, Art Souterrain aims to make art accessible to a wider audience by taking it out of it’s traditional exhibition spaces.my responsibilities included: administering seven international artists in all logistics, communicating between building administrators, artists involved and Art Souterrain’s Board of Directors, continously reporting to Director of Operations, negotiating access and usage of heavy plant equipment. predicting disaster scenarios and applying creative problem solving, presenting site inductions for art technicians and artists, programming installation build schedule, monitoring budget, booking transportation of works by air and ground traffic, translating artist statements and biographies from French to English, curating installation layout of photographs and other installations, signing off and sending digital images for large scale prints, managing crowd control, regulating invoices, booking travel and accommodation, updating and signing off on risk assessments, health and safety reports and insurances, planning de-installation build and managing post-production logistics
