- Manage course adoption sales in a territory of fourteen states for a large and diverse list from Bloomsbury Academic and Fairchild Books- Work with editorial, marketing, and production to highlight key textbook titles and plan promotion and email marketing campaigns each season- Grow relationships with university bookstores and textbook distributors as well as individual faculty and department administrators, providing on-demand customer service to those who use our books and services

- Served as the first point of contact for our distribution warehouse, booksellers, and customers- Provided administrative support to the Sales Department. Typical responsibilities included creating sales reports, preparing materials for sales representatives, delivering ebook files to vendors, processing cooperative advertising payments, and assisting with special orders- Arranged book sales for HUP author events, working closely with publicists, booksellers, event organizers, and our distribution warehouse. During the busiest part of the season, there were up to twenty events per week- Assisted the Exhibits Manager with our exhibits program, working with editors to compile book lists and create promotional materials for academic conferences, trade shows, and book festivals- Balanced regular departmental duties with more time-sensitive customer inquiries as well as complex seasonal projects
