CurrentThe Human Resources and Benefits Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function.1. Develops and administers various human resources plan and procedures for all company personnel.2. Manages, implements, administers benefit programs for all companies’ employees. 3. Maintains benefit records by developing record keeping systems; initiating new-hire benefits; recording changes.4. Resolves employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.5. Expedites delivery of benefits by establishing and maintaining working relationships with benefit providers.6. Reconciles benefits accounts by approving billing statements.7. Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures. 8. Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.9. Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.10. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews including terminations.11. Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.12. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
