I am looking the Import and Export - Cross Trade in Logistic Deptt. in this company.RESPONSIBILITIES:-Logistics Department is the management of the flow of goods, information and other resources, including energy and people, between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements of consumers (frequently, and originally). I am responsible of information, transportation, inventory, warehousing, material-handling, packaging, and occasionally security. In business, logistics may have either internal focus (inbound logistics), or external focus (outbound logistics) covering the flow and storage of materials from point of origin to point of consumption. The main functions of our Logistic Department include inventory management, transportation, warehousing, consultation and the organizing and planning of these activities.• Effective and efficient management of Inbound & Outbound material movement.• Cost efficient and effective sourcing for imports.• Issuance of delivery order for the lifting of all local & export goods.• Booking status orders (export/local/import).• For early delivery of goods arrange the movement by Air.• Freight Negotiation with shipping lines/forwarders.• Shipment planning on fastest carrier regarding Import/Export.• Complete coordination between Transporter, Shipping Line, forwarders & Clearing Agents.• Daily / Monthly goods dispatch status.• Full command on Mirsal-II (Import/Export & Transit shipments regarding clearance).• Now handling Cross Trade Shipments from China/Korea/Thailand.• Switch BL / Cross Stuffing / Direct Clearance etc.• JAFZA shipments (Transit In / Out).• Full knowledge of Dubai Trade regarding Import/Export & Transit shipment to ROW/Local. • Handling the all export to Afghanistan via Iran/Nigeria with all documentations.• Handling the all export to GCC/Europ/USA/other sector with all necessary documentations• Reading the L/C in detail to meet up the required documentation.
