Working at Overland Civils I've been involved in a number of projects namely the construction of Sipetu Hospital Ward blocks in 2017 and the Construction of Butterworth Abattoir in 2018. In both these projects I was assigned as a Junior site QS and as a Junior site manager with duties like quantifying works for monthly payment certificates, quantifying work on site and off drawings, attending site progress meetings and quantifying material to be ordered on a weekly/monthly basis.In 2017 i was assigned to manage the renovations of Overland civils new office blocks worth more than R200 000 which required me to measure and quantify materials, draw up a programme for the works as well as work with a group of skilled and unskilled employees to achieve maximum results.
