I have worked as a shelter coordinator at ILIAKTIDA, a non-governmental organization that provides humanitarian assistance and protection to unaccompanied minors in Greece. With over five years of experience in journalism studies and human rights research, I have developed strong skills in new media, communication, and advocacy and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the victims of human rights abuses. As a shelter coordinator, I managed and supervised the shelter's daily operations, ensuring the beneficiaries' safety, dignity, and well-being, as well as facilitating their integration and social inclusion. I also leverage my academic background and expertise in journalism and human rights to produce and disseminate relevant and accurate information, stories, and reports on the humanitarian situation and the impact of our work. I am a co-author of two published volumes on interdisciplinary approaches to public space, education, communication, and collaboration in media studies. My mission is to use my knowledge and experience to promote and protect human rights and to empower the participation of vulnerable and marginalized groups in society through the use of traditional and new media. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new perspectives, and engage in meaningful and impactful projects.
