During my internship at NIT Calicut, I had the opportunity to delve deep into the field of signal processing, a crucial area in modern communication systems and data analysis. Under the guidance of experienced faculty and industry experts, I developed a tool called "Dysphonia Severity Index Calculator" which gives us a standardized value of Dysphonia Severity in the range of +5 to -5. I gained experience and knowledge about the following by working on this project:Voice signal analysis in Praat.Programming Using Python.Integrating Praat and Python using Parcelmouth library.Latex.This project can be considered as a standard tool in calculating the Dysphonia Severity Index which is a notable help in the certification of Speech Disability.
