I led team of 9 engineers through design, development and certification of a new variant of Trent XWB engine. My team was responsible for designing system-level product architecture and building models that predict functional behaviour of the whole engine. As team lead, I worked closely with senior leaders to define strategies to achieve programme.

• Developed and implemented a new control logic in the Tip Clearance Control Module that improved its accuracy and achieved 10% of the program’s fuel-efficiency improvement target
• Led the development of engine model and attributes for the Critical Design Review milestone
• Responsible for release of safety-critical design data which is used by the entire program (numbering in hundreds of engineers) to design components and carry out certification assessments.

Bengaluru, Singapore & Derby, UK

• Experienced working across the lifecycle (design, build, test) of civil aviation engines through multiple roles based out of Bangalore, Singapore and the UK
• Designed an adaptable fixture to support turbine casting components that reduced fixturing costs by 83% - patent filed for design of fixture
• Developed an efficient data pipeline to process engine test data, reducing turnaround time by 30% and created an analysis-cum-visualization tool to derive performance insights
