Athlone Training Centre as part of Longford Westmeath Education Training Board (LWETB) is committed to delivering an extensive range of training courses to its clients. These clients include persons entering the labour market for the first time, persons changing career, persons wishing to up-date or acquire new skills and early school leavers.We offer a wide range of programmes delivered on a full-time and part-time basis. Our emphasis is on the creation and provision of training courses which deliver practical skills and competencies, matched to the needs of local and national industry and with clearly defined measurable outcomes. In the Training Centre, courses will always be delivered in a training environment that insofar as is practicable replicates the real workplace and which is equipped to the best industry specified standards.
