Human Resources Officer - Occupational Health Services
CurrentThe City of Long Beach and our 6,000+ employees are fortunate to have our own Occupational Health Services Clinic which treats our employees who have sustained work-related injuries. Our clinic also performs a number of medical surveillance programs to maintain compliance with Cal/OSHA and other regulatory agencies. I am responsible for monitoring/maintaining the clinic's budget and managing the day-to-day operations. I develop and implement policies, protocols, and procedures. I'm responsible for supervising administrative and medical staff. I work to ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws, and high ethical standards. I liaise with Workers' Compensation personnel and department representatives to ensure injured patients receive the care they need to recover and return to work safely.
