I am currently loving an Outside Sales position for Nelson & Associates in the greater San Diego territory where I am responsible for managing the sales and distribution of my manufactures’ products throughout the Electrical Distribution Channel. I recently held a sales position at the largest privately owned wine and spirits distributor in the United States: Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits. The main aspects of my job are to achieve distribution and growth objectives for Southern's portfolio of wine/spirits products within a specific geographic area and through effective account management of existing retail customers. In addition to that my daily responsibilities were to sell-in new products, promote improved distribution, build and develop the trust and confidence of the retailer, and overcome objections. I've been my teams' sales rep of the month 4 out of 10 possible months as of the time of writing this and have won several trips and incentives along the way. At Anheuser-Busch Sales of Sylmar, our wholesaler sold 6 million cases/year and grossed $100 million+ per year in sales. I started out as an entry-level Sales Representative and quickly was promoted twice to the Sales Rep on the highest volume sales route in the branch by keeping the company's vision and retailer's needs top-of-mind. I obtained my monthly targets every month by growing our brand portfolio and volume with a professional and charismatic demeanor. I was then promoted to Marketing Coordinator where I ran the Marketing Department. An extensive list of my job responsibilities are highlighted below in my work experience, but I was involved with contract/sponsorship negotiations and event activation to budgeting expenses for the department to managing our Brand Activation TeamBefore I started at Anheuser-Busch I ran my own yard service business as well as being the General Manager of a restaurant for 2 years where I was in charge of almost all aspects of running the business. I have always been in love with the art of communication. I can walk into to any room and "feel-out" the situation and carry myself in the correct manner to interact with all individuals in the room.
