PMU State Coordinator for Andhra Pradesh and OdishaAs the PMU State Coordinator for Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, I play a role in ensuring the effective implementation of various schemes by providing the Ministry with field feedback. Stationed at the National Institute of Social Defence (NISD) in New Delhi, my responsibilities involve extensive travel to States/UTs for on-ground evaluations.Responsibilities:Supervise the implementation of projects within the designated Department/State/Region under the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment (DoSJ&E), Government of India.Ensure assigned activities are fully accomplished, meeting expected technical and management quality standards, and are delivered on schedule.Implement projects in accordance with partnership agreements and Standard Operating Protocols of the DoSJ&E, Government of India.Maintain and provide necessary information, records, and documentation for project monitoring and inspections.Conduct field visits/travels to States/districts for organizing and evaluating programs for about 20 days each month.Maintain confidentiality and responsibility in handling relevant data and records.Foster and maintain effective and professional relationships with all project staff, partners, and stakeholders.Organize and facilitate meetings between key stakeholders and regular coordination meetings in line with the project's governance structure.

As a fellow for Wayanad district under the Young Kerala Fellowship Programme, I closely collaborated with the Wayanad district administration, engaging in a variety of activities aimed at regional development. Wayanad, being the only aspirational district in Kerala, provided me with unique opportunities to contribute to various developmental projects.One of the most notable initiatives I was involved in was the ABCD campaign, organized by the administration to provide essential documents to the tribal communities in the district. This campaign was pivotal in ensuring that these communities received the necessary documentation for their basic rights and services.
