Spear-headed the development of curriculum for BMEN 433/633(689) – Biomolecular and Cellular Engineering Lab curriculum in close collaboration with Prof. Guiseppi-Elie (C3B® Director). Curriculum designed to stimulate experiential pedagogy and cognitive conflict in graduate and undergraduate teaching.Curriculum involved student training in BL-2 techniques & aseptic handling, Primary Cell Culture handling, Protein Conjugation Synthesis and Characterisation (Biophysical and Biochemical), and Molecular Dynamics.Developed and implemented the standard operating procedures for the lab while supporting the knowledge transfer and training of 2 uninitiated personnel for assistance with the laboratory course.

Designed and implemented a data pipeline to identify the functional basis for peptide properties for selective dispersion of carbon nanotubes via molecular simulations. Utilized high performance computing & machine learning to predict peptide properties from a molecular simulation dataset > 1.0 TB.

Initiated an innovative approach to accelerate the product development cycle of biosensors for monitoring small molecules via molecular simulations and machine learning. Markov State Model was used to predict the sensor performance.Research work directly resulted in a collaboration with 1 international cross-functional team and 3 peer-reviewed journal articles. Work featured as cover art in the December issue of the Toxins journal (Volume 9, Issue 12).

With over five years of analytical experience, I have specialized in characterizing surface phenomena at aqueous interfaces. I have a proven track record in developing innovative methodologies to address technical challenges involving Mass Spectrometry, Circular Dichroism Spectropolarimetry, Bioactivity assays, and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).I co-developed and implemented an advanced data-mining tool for classifying and predicting protein configurations on adsorbent surfaces. This work was featured as cover art in the August issue of the Journal of Computational Chemistry (Volume 37, Issue 21).I also developed a structural bioinformatics approach to predict the orientation propensity of peptides based on the surface functional groups of materials, which was implemented using MATLAB.My research has contributed to 12 peer-reviewed tier 1 journal articles and 3 book chapters.
