I am currently engaged as an independent contractor, working as a Senior Assessor for Unit 1: The Context of Treasury, which is part of the Certificate of Treasury program.

As an independent contractor, I serve as a Marking Assessor for both the Certificate of Treasury, specifically Unit 1: The Context of Treasury, and the Diploma in Treasury Management, focusing on Unit 1: Corporate Finance.

Employed part-time as an online course instructor. In this role, I teach postgraduate students subjects, including Corporate Finance and Management Accounting. Additionally, I instruct undergraduate students in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Corporate Finance. Beyond teaching, I have also taken on assignments as a subject matter expert in Financial Accounting and Treasury Management for Business.

Worked as a part-time teaching assistant for two and half years, out of which 1.5 years were face to face and one year online. I was responsible for several undergraduate and MBA courses including "Strategic Financial Management", "Financial Accounting", "Managerial Economics", "Operations Management" and "Corporate Governance and Ethics". Work responsibilities included but were not limited to:· Tutoring students on difficult topics and helping answer any questions related to them· Invigilating midterm and final term examination· Responsible for marking assignments and final term examinations

Employed in the Supply Chain department of an oil and gas equipment group of companies having business in 57 countries and staff of around eight thousand people worldwide. Due to my financial background, I mainly dealt with financial issues and learned about the different aspects of Supply Chain. Day to day activities include:· Collaborating with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify and qualify new suppliers· Developing procedures and systems to evaluate and select suppliers· Analyzing information about supplier performance· Conferring with supply chain planners to forecast demand and create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products· Devised a policy and financial model to assess the credit rating of suppliers and strategies on how to deal with them· Devised a policy and model to assess the effects of early payment to suppliers and its effects on the company’s profitability

Employed in the accounting department of a marble processing company. Primarily dealt with the accounting and finance area of the company. Day-to-day activities include:• Produced quarterly and annual financial statements and reviewed with executive management• Produced monthly management accounts and reported commentary and analysis • Analyzed product prices/costs, material and service costs, compared actual expenditures to budget, inspected variances, and determined root-cause for each significant variance• Analyzed, evaluated, and advised management on budget performance and the way forward; provided general information and counseled the areas of pricing, cost, ROI decisions, the development of overall business plans and strategies• Working capital management by managing debt collection, inventory and expense controls cash flow forecasting, and monitoring• Responsible for applying and renewing financial facilities and compliance with banking regulations
