Ridah Ridah Entertainment (R2E) is Atiim Chenzira's brain-child. As a songwriter, musician, grass roots arts organizer, and Audio Visual tech, he found a way to umbrella his creative endeavors. As a relief staff member, I cover shifts for regular employees at several locations in the Larkin Street Youth Services network; from homeless shelters to transitional housing. I work at an all men's rehabilitation facility for treatment of up to 48 individuals. I am a co-facilitator for issues groups, package groups, parenting groups, communication management groups, anger management groups, drug education, life skills, and relapse prevention groups. The company's mission in a phrase: "Building community one person at a time." I manage a case-load of up to ten men a week, report to the program manager, and have a great team of drug counselors that support the work I do in community. We serve drug diversion clients, private pay, federal and state mandated parolees, and recently have begun serving clients with a variety of insurances from Kaiser, and other corporate and personal insurance companies.
