Invited by the government of KSA to attend inaugural LEAP venture capital conference on behalf of tech wildcatters · Product Planning. Developed new business plans & projects for clients. Projects include a:o US firm seeking to start cellular and WiFi operations in an African country. Wrote and submitted proposal to country PTT on behalf of client and was selected for $3 million contract negotiation.o US firm developing and implementing first telecom component product. Led successful effort to get 4 beta-product customers to purchase and test first product. Effort allowed the company to meet key tranche requirements for receiving $7 million in second round funding.o US start-up developing switch fabric and traffic manager chipset. Recruited to lead growth of telecom, IoT and medical products by developing new product strategies, launching new products, and presenting value proposition to customers and industry interest groups.* Currently part of 3-person team conducting feasibility analysis on supply products to Middle East and Africa• Led Integration & Growth of Acquired Business Unit. Transitioned customers and products from a product line acquired from JDSU and grew business to $3 million annual run rate.• Led Marketing and Business Development Effort for Verizon FiOS Contract. Supported sales team and led new product road map as part of multi-million business relationship with Verizon for building the largest broadband project in the US.• Qualified Product with USDA-RUS. Developed market positioning, collateral material and product strategy for supplying hardware products for broadband projects that were funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. • New Product & Channel Strategies for Data Center Product. Leading effort on launching fiber solutions for datacenters deploying wireless and cloud back haul/hosting services. • Solar Panel Analysis. Analyzed viability of building a $30 million solar panel factory using US technology. Analysis included SWOT analysis on technology and financing options.• Hand Held, Networked Medical Devices. Initiated marketing effort on designing hand held diagnostic tools for initial screening and categorizing of skin cancer, wounds and for selecting suitable veins for procedures. Collectively these diagnostic segments represent a $1 billion market potential.

• Launching New Products. Launched one of the industry’s first small footprint WDM telecom devices for metro networks. Product now generates over $3 million in annual sales.• New Product & Channel Strategies. Developed road maps for new telecom products that will helped drive the future profitability of the company. These include products for wireless tower (CPRI) applications, and a sub-system that assists in automating the deployment of new networks. Products are now generating >$20 million in annual revenue.

Recruited, as a venture consultant in order to source and close new investment opportunities; and to create programs designed to improve portfolio company performance.· Investment Focus. Analyzing market trends in general, and debt and equity instruments in particular for:o Business Process Outsourcing, (BPO), operations in Asia. o Electronic Design Automation, (EDA), start-ups with Far East operations.· Portfolio Company Performance Improvement. Working with IFC investment officers and portfolio company executives to develop marketing programs that maximize sales performance and investment returns.

Part of a multi-disciplinary team from 1996 – 1998 charged with developing and managing Corning's local area/enterprise network optical fiber strategy and end-user relationships. Between 1994 & 1995, assumed additional responsibilities as sales engineer for new fiber accounts that generated over $2M dollars in annual sales. Named to President's Sales Club 3/95.· Customer Relations & Outbound Marketing. Provided input for two new design tools on fiber and networks for use by networking professionals. Project led to $2M in new sales. · Strategy and Market Analysis. Headed Corning team that worked closely with McKinsey & Co. on developing long-term strategy for growing global datacom and optical sensors for security and GPS navigation market.
