Atila ÇelebiCreative DirectorI was born in Ankara in 1968.I earned my bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty, in 1994. While in school, I started working part time at ‘Çizgi Ötesi’ agency.Following graduation, I continued my professional career at ‘dDf’ (Dream Design Factory), an event management company in Istanbul, where I designed logos and the concepts of many large-scale events for the next 12 years during which time, I also took part in many award-winning concept projects, product launches, openings, art and design expos, awards ceremonies, fashion shows, private performances and various other projects. Along the years, I had the opportunity to work with many famous designers and artists such as Dice Kayek, Hüseyin Çağlayan, Ömer Uluç, İlhan Koman, Şakir Eczacıbaşı and Tarkan Tevetoğlu. All the remarkable experiences I had during my years at dDf, proved invaluable and helped me greatly expand my understanding of design.In 2010, I took on the role of creative director at Sipahiler Events and established the creative team which I have been leading since then. For the past 7 years, we have successfully provided creative services and developed event concepts for a wide variety of brands, especially from the financial and automotive industry.As of today, I continue my work as the creative director at Sipahiler Events.Some of the awards and certificates I was granted throughout my career are; • Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Success Award for Contribution to the Promotion of Turkey• 9th International Istanbul Biennale Daniel Bozhkow EAU D’ERNEST Art Performance Success Award• Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Enterprise Group Certificate of Appreciation• ‘Best Integrated Communication Application of the Year’ Award at ODD 2012 for BMW May Fest Project• ACE of M.I.C.E 2013 ‘Best Event Reception’ Award for OdeaBank Opening Reception concept• BMW 1 Series Best Press Launch AwardLooking back on my journey spanning over 20 years through the world of design, I can say that, after all these years, I still have that sense of wonder and excitement of the first day every day and continue to grow ever more passionate about what I do as time goes by.
