Building on a platform developed and tested by one of the world's leading hedge funds, the D. E. Shaw group launched Arcesium as an independent company in 2015. At Arcesium, I received a fast track promotion to the position of a Specialist and took on the following responsibilities:- Strategized and coordinated the end to end hiring process at 5 levels (entry to Associate Director)for technical & corporate verticals resulting in speedy closure of all open searches.- Performed searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, recruiting firms, and employee referrals.- Ideated various branding initiatives during campus as well as market hiring drives resulting in increased popularity between potential candidates.

I joined Arcesium as a part of the small team that moved from within D.E.Shaw India to form the Talent Acquisition group at this new entity. I was involved with the following responsibilities:- Worked on end to end market recruitment including requirement gathering, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews and closing searches in a timely manner with an appropriate candidate.- Jointly coordinated the technical on-campus hiring process for 24 colleges resulting in successful full time and internship offers ; independently managed the entire life cycle including pre-hiringand post-hiring efforts for 8 colleges.- Conceptualised and used Visual Basic and Excel macros to create a monthly report illustrating hiring trends by source and progression for the New York office recruitment process which was used by the recruiting team to analyse their hiring numbers and make appropriate changes as reflected by the compiled data.

E. Shaw India as a campus hire after my undergraduate degree and took on the following roles and responsibilities :- Managed & coordinated support functions for on campus recruiting for the New York office during Fall ’16.- Mentored an intern for 4 months, provided guidance, imparted training and oversaw all daily work related activities.- Conducted a competitor intelligence report on important parameters, analysed trends and recommended courses of action to senior management which were presented to the Executive Committee for future consideration.
