We plan, implement and establish community and resident edible gardens around SE Queensland, working closely with vulnerable members of the community. Our goal is to engage with the vulnerable and establish an edible garden that the community or residents can benefit from, especially with the constant rising costs of living. We believe by also adding therapeutic horticulture practices to the gardens, we can encourage a safe space for people to come together that helps to clear the mind, body, and spirit. Another aim is to have Bush Tucker natives in each garden to enhance the community members knowledge of these plants, and they usefulness they serve. We work with local horticulturalists, farmers, bee keepers, along with others to provide educational sessions and working bee days.
