As a tutor, my duties include:-Tutoring students to help boost their writing skills and to act as an extra set of eyes to give feedback students may need to improve their writing.-Facilitate workshops to help educate interested students on specific writing skills, such as thesis writing and orginization, to supplement the information coming from the students' courses.-Run sessions for brainstorming to aid students in finding their direction for assignments or topics.-Aid professors at the university by being a stand-by resource for students who would like additional help or explanations on writing when professor may not have the time or manpower to attend to every student.

Dededo, Guam

In this position, I worked part-time shifts on-call for overnight store changeovers and occasional warehouse inventory checks. This entailed 10-hour shifts (divided by a 1-hour break) to:-Hanging, folding, and displaying old and new stock to make the store neat and to prepare clothes for displayed, to move old stock to a different area in the store, or to move into storage. I worked with teams to organize and evaluate according to the direction of the lead on shift.-Change the store layout and arrangement according to the direction from the lead and the head office the Guam branch of GAP is under. I worked in a team for both physical labor and aesthetic judgment calls for oragnization within the parameters set by the lead.-Checking that clothing received in warehouse matches order forms. The staff on shift coordinated with each other to cross reference order forms and item numbers to ensure that all items are accounted for, then to re-fold and organize stock for those working the overnight shift for ease of identification when stock goes to the store for display.

Hagåtña, Guam

In this position, I aided the Event Host in:-Set up event rooms, print Jump Passes, and take park visitors' payment. I handled event set up, payment, item check-in, and pass printing for the party to enable the Event Host to focus on entertaining park guests. -Greeting and answer visitor questions. By greeting and answering park visitors' questions, I helped create a welcoming first impression of the park, helped visitors avoid wasting time in line, kept the cashiers from being overwhelmed, helped direct new guests through park procedures, and allowed the management and leads on duty to focus on their tasks instead of running down to the main floor.-Scheduling private events. I became familiar with the party plans for the park and the system used to schedule events, additionally I became familiar with all park prices to best give visitors information and book their events, give them their party timeline and needed information, or to take payment ahead of time.Additionally, I aided other areas in the park by-Cleaning (bathroom maintenance, bussing tables, washing dishes, sweeping, wiping counters) to do my part in keeping the park clean when other team members added to other important park duties-Restocking merchandise to prepare for high traffic park hours and to better display merchandise available for visitor purchase.-Working the cash register to fill in for team members who called in sick, were running late, or to ease the stress off of the cashiers during high traffic park hours.-Camp Counselor (watching children during the Winter Break Sky Camp). In this position I was able to fulfill several different duties in the same shift, such as cashier, kitchen, and park monitor, to entertain our youngest park visitors.
