I am currently working on designing, fabricating and testing an automated flow cell device for characterising gene regulatory networks in fixed tissue and live stem cell derived organoids using a process known as FISSEQ (Fluorescent In-Situ Sequencing). During the course of the project, I will be exploring stem cell biology, micro fabrication and developmental biology with an end goal of creating in vitro and in silico models of tissues and organoids.

Currently working on examining the contamination of 3D printed objects in Biosafety cabinets and finding efficient methods to reduce microbial growth on surfaces. Primary experiments will be conduced in the lab of Dr. Horacio Bach (Division of Infectious Diseases, Faculty of Medicine - UBC) at the Jack Bell Research Centre.

I am currently working with Dr. Vikramaditya Yadav (Supervisor, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering) and Agartee Technology Inc. to create a polymer micro-sensor that detects nicotine in ambient air. The completed sensor will be integrated into a medical device that will actively monitor the presence of nicotine around patients suffering from Chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD)

I was a Teaching assistant for BMEG 245, a Biomedical engineering course that introduces cell biology and its molecular processes to second year Biomedical engineers.

I worked in the Mechanical Team at BEAR UBC, where we generated and fabricated concepts for cheap, reliable and rapidly-manufacturable prosthetic arms.
