Having first hand seen how financial health of an individual/family takes a hit due to medical needs, Rio Health is working on a mission to ensure medical needs of an individual/family are well taken care with right financial solutions for them.- Developed the product roadmap, hired interns/developers to develop the product.- Created product plans for no-cost EMIs, business model, integration plan with NBFCs.- Created a pipeline of 100K+ USD per month loan book along with other co-founder & sales head.- Raised ~250K USD from micro VC, FnF and commitment for additional 250K USD.- Decided to pull the plug due to unforeseen circumstances and returned 100% of the money back to the investors. Learned valuable lessons in the process.

Multi Factor Authentication – Launched a new Outlook auth stack that provides single sign on with rest of the Office suite and enables Multi-Factor Authentication. O365 enterprise customers can now have the peace of mind that Outlook is secure against password theft and also ensure that the user password never leaves the enterprise environment. Over 300 customers switched to Office 365 as a direct result within 6 months of the release.International Email Address (EAI) – Launched EAI for Outlook 2016. The next billion internet users don’t know English and EAI empowers them to embrace one of the world’s most popular communication medium. They can get in and out of email without worrying about English.Currently working on a yet to be released feature that redefines the core outlook user experience.

ISO Mounting – Launched ISO Mounting for Windows 8. Say good bye to optical disc drives and 3rd party tools. Additionally, this work eliminated 30K Windows crashes per month that were caused by 3rd party tools.Zero Power Optical Disc Drive (ZPODD) – Launched ZPODD for Windows 8 and extended battery life for the users. Proposed significant updates to the ZPODD standards specification (called Mt. Fuji), worked with ODD partners/Intel/AMD to get the changes accepted and ensured success of the feature. Storage Drivers – Owned 3rd party storage driver program for Windows 8. These drivers are responsible for ensuring a seamless connection to storage devices connected to the PC. Was directly involved in ensuring excellent Windows read/write performance for over 30% of the PCs in the world.

PowerShell for iSCSI – Worked on replacing the existing iSCSI command line tool with PowerShell and defined the long term strategy. This directly provided Microsoft a better leverage compared to the competition by providing an improved UX and functionality.The project was well received by the Windows Leadership and showcased in the publicity emails sent by Microsoft for university recruitment.

SUN System Management Center – Worked on various parts of the management app using Java, C, and Shell Scripting. Reduced the installation time of the app by over 20%.Web project – Took initiative outside of work responsibilities to design and develop a web tool for consolidating SUN’s CSR activities and removed 3rd party dependency resulting in savings of over 100,000 USD annually.
