About Debbie Atkins Fca

I have been running my own company as a Chartered Accountant for 15 years, after working and training with a large local firm. I then decided to take the leap and have never looked back!We have grown and are now made up of a small specialised team if 12. We offer a very personal, friendly and professional service, advising based upon each business or persons specifics goals. Aside the 'usual' clients and businesses I have also found myself specialising in preparing tax returns to reclaim tax for serving members of the armed forces, for the travelling they undertake. Currently these claims can be backdated up to four years, and many of my clients have successfully received thousands of pounds! Always a great service to provide:-)I have made many connections within the armed forces particularly the Royal Marines (as my husband is currently still serving). This has lead me into advising clients who have now become involved in the Maritime Security Industry. Due to the specific nature of the industry, if certain conditions are met, their pay can be enjoyed tax free!
