Joe serves as the Global Chief AI Officer for the PwC Network of Firms. As a member of PwC's Global Commercial Leadership Team, Joe works with our Global practice and market leaders to bring the power of AI to our delivery models in a responsible and impactful way. Working with our Human Capital Leadership, Joe is also helping to shape our upskilling and working practices for the PwC Network, encompassing more than 360k people around the world. Prior to his current role, Joe was a member of the US Leadership Team, responsible for leading the firm through its digital transformation. That included accelerating our growth in go-to-market products and digital solutions, as well as the firmwide technology capabilities. Joe co-chairs the firm's AI Executive Council, overseeing our $1 billion investment to expand and scale the firm's AI capabilities. Previously Joe served as the Chief Digital Officer, defining and executing our vision to digitally enable the firm, and better leverage technology and talent to bring greater value (and experience) to our people and clients. Joe’s prior roles include leading our Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) consulting business for the US, Japan and China, and he has built a reputation as a trusted, pragmatic and thoughtful advisor to clients as they navigate through accelerating technology changes and increasing regulatory complexity. Joe joined the firm in 1993, and was admitted to the partnership in 2001. He has served in a variety of practice leadership and management roles during his career, including being elected to the firm’s Board of Partners & Principals. His client service responsibilities have included some of the largest and most recognizable brands in Technology, Media & Telecommunications. Joe is actively engaged as a civic leader, serving as a member of the Finance Committee for the Board of Trustees for Bancroft, a non-profit health and human services organization. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the Pennsylvania State University College of Information Sciences & Technology and serves as a trustee for the Community Foundation of South Jersey. He previously served as a trustee for the PwC Charitable Foundation. Joe graduated from the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor of science degree in Finance. He and his wife Laura have three children, and live in Haddonfield, New Jersey.
