I am the co founder and CTO of Cycloud. We produce cloud provisioning solutions for "Cloud" virtual desktops. We are passionate about saving our customers unnecessary costs when migrating to cloud infrastructure and work with industry leaders such as Microsoft and Citrix.

I am the technical director of Virtual Logic and principal virtualisation specialist. We undertake many aspects of virtualisation technologies including design of traditional on-prem virtualisation solutions that deliver both Server and workstation workloads to public / hybrid cloud infrastructures. We work with the industry leading cloud provider Amazon AWS. We pride ourselves on the highest quality consultancy available with an open perspective on current and emerging industry trends.

I upheld a position as a Systems Engineer providing pre-sales support covering a wide range of hardware and software systems specifically focused on desktop virtualisation solutions. I found the time spent with Dell to be very interesting and I learnt a great deal. Unfortunately changes within their business meant that the virtualization practice was disbanded leaving me with little alternative but to consider my position and move on.

I provided pre-sales services to the UK based sales team. I found my time with RES to be interesting and challenging. I learnt a huge amount regarding self service portals and how this allows companies greater efficiencies and control over how services are resources are deployed.

I spent 10 years at Citrix Systems. In that period I worked for many of the sales teams, specialising from channel focused to end user and SI. I also looked after a number of products from XenApp to Provisioning Server.I did progress my career in the sense that I was given the chance to managed the UK based Systems Engineering team for three years. It was great experience but I eventually decided that it was not for me. I discovered that I was wasting much of my time playing politics and I consider life too short for that so I refocused my attention on the technology where I took a newly acquired technology (Provisioning Server) and worked with partners to provide a strong channel for it. Citrix was (and still is) an incredible company with a strong focus on the delivery of applications and services. I consider my time with Citrix to be responsible for the way in which my thinking of technology and cloud services. I will always (to some degree) be indebted to Citrix for the experience I gained there.
