CurrentCybersecurity Analyst II, Santee CooperDual roles as a CSOC analyst and Penetration Tester. Main tasks include:• Monitoring use of data files and regulated access to protect secure information. Review violations of computer security procedures and develop mitigation plans.• Perform risk analyses to identify appropriate security countermeasures. Research and develop new computer forensic tools.• Monitor computer virus reports to determine when to update virus protection systems.• Recommend improvements in security systems and procedures.• Perform Identity Access Management functions.• First and Second level response and analysis of cybersecurity incidents and suspicious/malicious email events.• Determine the escalation and prioritization of security incidents and events.• Research innovative and new ways to secure company-wide IT infrastructure.• Monitor software for external intrusions, attacks, and hacks.• Provide solutions to protect the company from a constantly evolving hostile environment of cyber-attacks.• Aid in adapting and maintaining corporate security procedures.• Conducted successful Pen Tests on physical and networked devices as well as applications found within the DMZ.
