Adrienne T.L. Smalls hails from the beautiful city of Charleston, SC where she received her love for healthcare as a Candy Striper-Youth volunteer at world renown Medical University of South Carolina. She later transitioned to Atlanta, Georgia. In Atlanta she attended nationally recognized Georgia State University as a pre-med student. Later moving to North Carolina to complete her associates as a double major in biotechnology and business administration. Amidst several challenges in the year of 2020, Adrienne decided to finally give into her passion for children and healthcare and is now pursuing a 4 year degree as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. As a fellow student government/affairs officer in her nursing program, she pushes her peers to strive for their best self, and encourages them to do the same for others. Outside of building experience in the field, her end goal is to become a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in the short years to come. She is truly a woman of many treasured gifts. April 1st, 2022 Adrienne independently released and published a children’s cook book entitled “ Never Have I Tried… Weird Food Combos”. Excelling in academia and community work is a big part of who Adrienne is. When community efforts of any sort is happening in her current residence of Gaston County (and surrounding areas) you can guarantee she is there to lend a helping hand. Adrienne firmly believes “In our pursuit for greatness, always remember the greatest among you in this lifetime is your servant.”
