As a Director of Learning Design at Citizen Schools, I lead the design and implementation of innovative and impactful learning experiences for students and educators in under-resourced communities. I leverage my skills in program design, organizational vision, and writing to create engaging and relevant curricula, assessments, and professional development that align with the mission and goals of Citizen Schools and its partners. I also mentor and coach a team of learning designers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure quality and alignment across the organization.I have over 15 years of experience in the fields of architecture, education, and non-profit leadership, where I have applied my passion for innovation, collaboration, and social impact. As a LEED accredited licensed architect, I have designed and managed multiple projects that incorporate sustainability, accessibility, and community engagement. As a former chief academic officer of a design-based innovation high school and a director of creative programs at ARCKBoston, I have developed and delivered cutting-edge programs that foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among diverse learners. In all of my roles, I have been driven by the vision of creating positive and lasting change through design and education.
