Chuck purchased a 17 stick package of gum for .25, opened it and sold it for a nickel a stick. The profit margin was 240%!Chuck's formal sales training began in 1984 at Century Toyota. In 1985 Chuck was the youngest member of the Team Toyota Sales Society delivering over 300 retail units in one year.In 1987 Chuck co-founded Crown Motors which was a pre-owned exotic and muscle car dealership that he sold to his partners in 1991.He purchased a Management Recruiters franchise (MRI) in 1991. From MRI Chuck learned the value of a boutique or industry specific recruiting firm. From 1991 to 1996 he placed environmental chemists studying contaminants in air, soil and water. He was considered an expert in finding candidates behind the scene in the leading environmental testing laboratories. Chuck sold his MRI franchise in 1996.In 1996, Chuck started Scan Solutions which quickly became a leading provider of key talent for the firms that provide data collection systems for the Supply Chain and POS industries. Chuck specialized in the placement and recruitment of Direct Sales, Marketing and Technical Professionals. Scan Solutions is still his firm and has over 1040 successful placements in 28 years.Chuck began working with the firms that provided self service solutions in 2002. Since then, he has provided key talent to the leading providers of kiosks and ATM equipment.
