As Head of Production, I am part of the organisations Senior Management Team, and I lead the largest operating department in Northern Ireland’s principal producing theatre.I am responsible for the overall delivery of all events and productions on the Lyric’s stages as well as for Lyric productions on tour. I lead on all matters with respect to health and safety, and operational compliance. I am directly responsible for leading fourteen full-time staff and approx. thirty casual and contract staff across five production departments.As part of the senior management team, I was a key contributor to the Lyric Theatre’s strategic plans.I provide regular written reports and updates to the Lyric’s board of trustees and I sit on the Building and Maintenance board sub-committee. I chair the organisations Health and Safety committee.Overall management of a significant operating budget and capital projects budget.I led on establishment of Lyric Scenic Workshop to self-deliver on scenic construction and to provide a diversified income stream for the company.
