Put simply, my goal is ensuring that an organization's digital transformation is 'done right'. Why is this important? Because technology is one of the fundamental yet critical areas of impact for every modern business enterprise. Evidence consistently shows that digital transformation has far reaching consequences for all segments of an organization. This may sound obvious, but as George Westerman put it "when digital transformation is done right, it's like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly; when done wrong, all you have is a really fast caterpillar". This is why as a digital transformation consultant in the ERP solutions domain, the core of my work deals with ensuring an organization's digital transformation journey produces a figurative butterfly. More literally, my focus is on helping organizations make the most informed decisions regarding their ERP solution landscape by leveraging industry leading practices as the benchmark, and helping to completely and accurately translate short, medium and long-term business requirements into sound technical solutions which are not only fully fit for purpose in the short-run, but also adaptable in the long-run. To this end, I am well able to scale up or down the value chain as the situation requires, as well as engage various stakeholders at their relative hierarchical business areas of context, be it at C-level decision making or on operational process levels.
