Ahmed El-Tobgy is an Urban Planner/Heritage Specialist at Dar, a leading engineering and architecture consulting firm. He has over 11 years of experience in architecture and urban design, with a focus on sustainable and culturally sensitive solutions. He holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Urban Design from ETH Zürich and a Master's Degree in Urban Design and Revitalization of Historic City Districts from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.Ahmed is also the co-founder and manager of Cairo Heritage School, a social enterprise that aims to raise awareness and empower communities to preserve and revitalize their historic neighborhoods. He has led and participated in several projects, competitions, and research initiatives that address the challenges and opportunities of urban heritage in Egypt and beyond. He is passionate about creating livable, inclusive, and resilient urban environments that respect and celebrate their history and identity.
