Working at the CDO we're implementing data governance and evangelizing on data management best practices across the group. The central team has set data governance policies and instructions, been driving establishment of the governance organization to business areas and supporting organizations and projects to grasp what governance is about. I've been working up-close and personal with major change initiatives and key projects on business areas as well as the regulatory agenda (GDPR, BCBS 239 etc.) to establish project milestones, roadmaps and success criteria for data management deliverables. On the other hand I've driven establishment of central services for glossary management, lineage and data quality monitoring, representing the business requirements and building up the services. I've also worked quite some with data management capabilities, including use of DAMA DMBok and DCAM frameworks to develop assessment methodologies and surveys.

The role has varied from requirement analysis, technical and architectural planning to project management on various DW projects from end-user application development to enterprise DW sourcing and business content analysis.The development is done in a multivendor environment, with global teams and Nordic business coordination. The tasks are very independent and require good understanding of the organization, business goals and IT architecture. Main projects I've been contributing to:- Data analysis application development, reporting and customer portfolio analysis applications Responsibilities as analyst, driver and PM- Finance Value Program, building a global data warehouse integrating agreement, customer and financial data. I believe that I have been able to get benefit from this experience on my later career, since it has always been easy for me to start on a new job and pick new things up quickly.
