Andrew recently retired to the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, and is hosting a weekly classical music show on WDIY 88.1FM, community public radio.He was formerly Quaker UN Representative and Director of the Quaker UN Office in New York. QUNO’s mission is to help the United Nations fully carry out its responsibility to prevent violent conflict and build sustainable peace around the world. In June 2013, Andrew, on behalf of QUNO, was named as one of the 100 most influential people in armed violence reduction. He founded the Dilmun One Fund, a socially responsible investment fund, in 2005. Previously, he was a Director with the Salomon Smith Barney division of Citigroup, where he served as a senior member of the derivatives capital markets team. He holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians’ Association. Andrew has a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Anthropology from St. John’s College, Cambridge (First Class Honors) and a Master of Arts in Oriental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania (Thouron Scholar). He has contributed articles on peacebuilding, prevention of violent conflict, technical analysis and ethical investing to a variety of periodicals.
