Closely followed and reported on College news throughout the academic year. Built journalistic relationships with staff, faculty, and fellow students to gain leads and research for stories. Worked closely with the communications department to craft feature pieces for the College's quarterly newsletter.

Wrote monthly stories and columns for the Catholic Register's Youth Speak News column. Built strong connections with individuals and organizations to uncover stories and collect first-hand research. Developed an ear for titles and became proficient at pitching topics to the editor.

Managed the Barrie Chamber's business blog over the course of summer 2021. Connected with and interviewed dozens of business owners. Wrote feature pieces ranging from 2000-3000 words detailing their careers.
