Designed and wrote bespoke transactional file system and and task-sharing system for ARM-based system. This was a "PC-less" MP3 system which would record and play back audio CDs to a built-in hard disk.Led the software development side of the project, which was written in ARM C++

VMS Engineering: developed and maintained operating systems subsystems including DECdtm and a distributed cluster-wide disk cache project.This multi-threaded kernel mode software was used in many critical systems, including healthcare, stock exchanges and banking systems.
