I've built an internal creative services team, Studio 26, from the ground up. We support all advertising channels, marketing promotions, email, sales support collateral as well as all content needs including photography and video. I’ve helped transform the department from a production shop to a full-service agency that outputs high-quality, revenue-driving work that impacts the bottom line. Additionally, I have a passion for calming the chaos within organizations with bringing process and systems into the team’s day to day. I’ve improved workflow by introducing several process management solutions, including Workfront (project management) and Canto (DAM – digital asset management).I manage with direct communication, transparency and accountability. Team IDEA is the in-house creative agency for Cars.com. We created experiences – whether physical or visual – for various audiences to engage, interact and strengthen relationships with the Cars.com brand.I lead the creative side of Team IDEA. We were a small but mighty team of designers (plus copy, video and agency partners) who are faced with new challenges every single day. We wore many hats, juggled many timelines, priorities and consistently made great work that we are proud of. No day was ever the same!Our work ranged from various projects including advertisements, sales collateral, email, banner advertisements, event signage, invitations, microsites, brochures, infographics, identity packages, logos and more. We used visual storytelling through the translation of complex business information, metrics and data into compelling visuals. Always acted as brand champions, upholding standards in all design deliverables and communicated timelines and status with project stakeholders utilizing the Workfront platform.We participated and facilitated brainstorming sessions for our clients. Developed and maintained relationships with various vendors. Have a keen eye for typography and layout hierarchy, as well as acute attention to detail.As a manager, I worked to empower my team. Coaching, mentoring and learning on the job are very important to me as a leader. Inspiration can come from anywhere when the environment is open to any and all ideas.

FlockThere was a 2009 startup. We worked towards arranging exclusive arrangements with venue and transportation partners allowing us to offer the lowest-priced packages to the city's hottest spots. "Don't walk there! Flock there!" Basically we *almost* beat Uber to the punch. I managed the community (twitter, facebook, blog, events, newsletters) and the creative side of things (website, collateral).It was a great dive into entrepreneurship with a good friend, but life got in the way and we weren't ready to take the full time leap. Learned tons along the way.
