Account Manager
Current• Provide accurate, timely, and proactive customer service to the Company’s customers as well as effectively communicate and coordinate with internal departments and third parties to meet customer requirements• Process simple and complex freight forwarding services, while following all government regulations and abiding by company policies and procedures• Shipment/order management• Input and timely update of sales activities utilizing the CRM system• Request/Obtain service quotations and optimize costs, negotiations• Research of reliable shipping agents• Timely and accurate scheduling of bookings• Coordinate customs brokerage if requested by customer• Ensure the complete and timely transfer of cargo (pick up, delivery, etc.)• Prepare, assemble, and process shipment documentation and billing.• Monitor and control services• Process shipments in line with Company standards about accuracy and expected productivity as measured by Key Performance Indicators• Prepare a proper invoice and control the payment by the customer and the payment to counterparty
