About Hamza Attaourti, Ph.D

I've started my career within P&G North West Africa, a company that values marketing in a unique way. During 4 years I was responsible for marketing communication within Brand Operations Department, first as Direct To Consumer Manager, then as In-Store & Digital Marketing Manager. A challenge that brings you closer to the marketing management of several & huge brands as Tide, Ariel or Fairy, H&S, Pantene or Gillette. My role within the marketing department was not only business oriented. During the creation of the In-Store Function I've contributed to the creation of the first processes for this section, selected and trained all the partners especially the agencies ... such a great responsibility and honor knowing the importance of the processes for the company.After that, I've moved to Fromageries Bel Maroc, where I accepted a huge marketing challenge; Managing La Vache Qui Rit. LVQR is one of the biggest & strongest FMCG brands in Morocco. A whole marketing responsibility be it on the strategical side or on the day to day one. The brand continue to over deliver in the Moroccan market as market shares, brand trial awareness are at a high level comparing to major competitors or FMCG players. Today I’m leading MARCOM EDGE agency, a young digital agency with clients such as P&G, Nestlé and Danone ... we create marketing & communication campaigns for Morocco and maghreb markets. On the academic side, I have a Ph.D in marketing from ISCAE Casablanca, my research field is related to new communication possibilities that digital technologies are offering to advertiser and its impact on the purchase intention of consumers. I'm also a Marketing Management Lecturer at ISCAE, ESCA EM, ENCG & Marrakech University.
