In January 2022, I continued in the same team as in my previous position as a Development Engineer. In May 2023, my development scope was widened to include whole Pulp and Energy Solutions (Service) Global Engineering Operations. This included a total of 5 engineering teams in different locations. During these 2,5 - 3 years my main tasks have been: - Managing several R&D projects- Studying and developing configurable product concept for Pulp and Energy Solutions Service business- Leading several productization projects- Creating design automation systems to increase engineering efficiency- Mapping and defining several engineering and R&D processes- Participating in PLM software definition and implementation - Smaller engineering process development initiativesI have also been taking part in strategic planning and been a member of the Pulp and Energy Solutions (Service) Global Engineering Operations extended management team since Autumn 2023.In 2023-2024, I took part in an internal talent development program. The program included: - Assessments (ability, personality, etc.)- Several trainings and workshops- Mentoring- Task force project regarding a strategically important topic

I started at Valmet Technologies Oy in May 2017 as a project engineer trainee in the energy spare parts team. During the first summer, I worked as a summer substitute for spare part sales employees. My work consisted of sales, purchasing, forwarding and invoicing of recovery and power boiler spare parts.After the first summer, I worked as a part-time employee besides my studies and as a full-time employee during the summer vacation periods. During this time my job description widened notably. For example, I got to be responsible of energy spare part sales, marine spare sales and larger spare part package delivery projects. During these years, I took part in several development projects and got to train some of my Finnish and Swedish colleagues. In December 2019, I started my master's thesis. In brief, the objective of the thesis was creating a prototype of a design automation system to help develop the spare part process.

During my second summer at Etteplan I worked as a substitute for my colleagues during the summer vacation season. I worked as a part of the same team I did during summer 2015. My main tasks were:- program assisted text archive editing- CAD-drawing editing - publishing model manuals for various paper machines

My main task was going through operations and maintenance manuals of a paper business line and updating the training material to match the manuals. During the process I also tried my best to bring out ideas how to enhance the training material both linguistically and technically. Mostly I worked in bilateral connection with the customer's representative but also as a part of team that consisted of six people.
