I started my carrier in Bajaj Auto as Trainee Engineer in 1984 & for first 16 years I worked in all quality functions of an Automobile Industry as Press Shop, Fabrication Shop, Machine Shop, Engine Assembly, Vehicle Assembly & Receipt Inpection. For last 4 years in Bajaj, I worked as Department Manager for engine assembly producing 4500 engines every day with 600 operators. In this position, I was responsible for all functions of the shop staring from logistics, production, productivity improvements & Quality to Maint. & cost savings.In Sept.2005, I joined Lombardini India Private Limited (engine manufacturer for Automotive & Stationary applications) as Quality Head & became plant head in Aug.2008. Working in Lombardini gave me opportunity to get exposure to other aspects of business like - to understand & work with customer (OEMs), equipment & machinery procurement, commertials angle of business, HR activity.I have now complete exposure to all aspects of operations of an automotive industry & want to head engineering plant where I will be responsible for its profits.Specialties: Designing & implementing manufacturing processes which give defect free out-put.Love working with people. Love ENGINE. After joining Aurangabad Auto Engineering; in last 3 years developed full knowledge on steel component manufacturing processes.
