These WMDs are connected with remote Medicare Servers on the cloud, who are virtually provide best coordinated medical care and medical expert consultations to the patient s in real-time 2: Project: “Hardware Co-simulation of Multicarrier Transmission Techniques for 5G Software Defined Radio”.Abstract: Our main objective of this project proposal is to focus on FPGA-in-loop co-simulation of multicarrier modulation techniques that are in phase of study for future wireless communication systems. The goal is to develop teaching material for lab activities based on the use of MATLAB and Simulink and HDL Coder and HDL Verifier. This teaching material is thought for use in Telecommunications, Electronics, and Computer Science Engineering lab activities in Universities with target audience MSc students and Phd Scholars3: Project: “Monte Carlo Simulation and Hardware Testing of Narrow band (NB) power line communication (PLC) based on MIMO-OFDM system”.Abstract: Main objective of this project is to perform Monte Carlo simulation of MIMO based OFDM system for cyclostationary noise based on the specification of Narrow band PLC communications and also perform the hardware testing by using FPGA-in-loop co-simulation. Moreover, Based on the reliability of the of PLC channel we are also working on the integration of the PCL channel together with wireless system.

Because of strict requirements on synchronism, actual 4th generation cellular system based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) are characterized by a high out of band (OOB) emission and cyclic prefix overhead, which limits spectral efficiency, and high latency, which limits real-time applications. Based on this, the main motivations behind the study of new non-orthogonal multicarrier waveforms is that the underlying design principles synchronism and orthogonality of the PHY layer of mobile radio systems constitute a major obstacle for the envisioned 5G service architecture. Hence, there is a clear motivation for an innovative and in part disruptive re-design of the PHY layer for next generation cellular systems. -
