Responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a relatively complex project module. Works on problems of complex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts & principles. Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance. Applies own judgment to independently determine a course of action, which is then executed independently post review. Responsible for coaching, and mentoring junior members in the team.

Own one or more modules of the project under development Mentor junior team members with the assistance of PM/Architect Flexible in working under changing and different work settings. Maintain high team morale. Adhere to company and project standards and guidelines. Accurate time accounting and reporting of own work. Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence and report same to reporting manager. Pay high attention to detail in all work. Quality, on time delivery of agreed deliverables.

Coordinate with product development and engineering teams in developing codes to support new application features. Participate in system design specification sessions to document technical specifications and to provide design options and solutions. Write and maintain codes using technical specifications to update existing application and/or to develop new application. Utilize programming principles, tools, and techniques to write application codes. Apply analytical, technical and programmatic skills to resolve application related issues. Provide coding effort, time and budget to Project Manager. Develop applications according to Company’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology Ensure that builds are properly deployed in development, system, acceptance and production environments. Review codes to identify any basic errors. Prepare test cases and strategies for unit testing and integration testing. Provide technical and functional support to testing teams. Assist Technical Writers in preparing project documentation. Follow best practices to perform application coding. Train, guide and supervise Junior Developers in coding methodologies.
