About Atul Hari

I am a Robotics Software Engineer at Kudan USA, specializing in SLAM and Computer Vision. I have an MS from the University of Twente, in systems and control completing my master's thesis on designing "a spatial cognitive exploration algorithm for mapping unknown indoor environments" at the robotics and mechatronics lab. I'm also a mechanical engineering undergrad passionate about autonomous intelligent systems, and artificial intelligence. I'm entrepreneurial and have experience bringing a product from a prototype to the market. My strong aspirations and curiosity have driven me to build a multidisciplinary background in the fields of robotics, mechanical engineering, automotive technology, and aeromodelling. My recent research orientation is in the direction of autonomous systems, including the concepts of probabilistic robotics, SLAM, computer vision, machine learning, non-linear optimization, sensor fusion, and cognitive robotics.
