Atul holds a Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University. During his graduation stint, Atul worked on various projects finding the right mix between engineering and digital marketing. He leveraged his technical skills to build prototypes and MVPs as a part of his academia and marketed them digitally to find a buyer. This was his first tryst with entrepreneurship. Atul also interned with Yamaha as a part of his summer internship program and contributed to develop a thesis on emerging trends and technologies in the automobile domain.Atul being passionate about solving real life problems, took the road less taken after engineering. Instead of opting for a stable and high paying job, Atul opted for entrepreneurship. He started working on various ideas that would allow him to use his technical skills and inherent business acumen. Being a people person and a glib talker capable of striking the right deals, Atul started working on building a service marketplace comprised of vendors and consumers. One of the problems that every average Indian citizen faces is to manage housekeeping. Be it the pest control or the servicing of ACs or getting your pluming done correctly. The list is endless. Atul dawned on this idea to create a hasslefree experience for users by building a dual sided marketplace called "gatepe.com". It allows vendors to list their services and customers to choose their utilities. Started in the year 2015 from Indore with just 6 listed vendors, www.gatepe.com has grown to over 100+ vendors and has its base in 5 cities. The venture helmed by Atul as its head of operations and strategy awaits pre series A funding.
