"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" - Nelson Mandela. It's no mystery that this is where my story started. My journey to change the world started 25 years ago. Although, armed with a qualification in Electrical Engineering, my passion for ICT and an MBA, I realised that even before I could start changing the world it was even more important for me to understand the progression of an individual through the phases of the learning and development process. This being basic education, tertiary education and finally the corporate environment.The primary question however, that I needed to answer for myself was,How would I develop a disruptive and innovative learning and development environment that was not only affordable, self-paced, interactive and immersive but improved self-value and individual performance?I started my career as a Network Engineer at Technikon SA and later grew to become CTO at University of South Africa. Over the 15 years that I was employed at theses institutions I got the opportunity to understand the various education sector business processes and the evolution of teaching and learning methodologies and architectures that included correspondence learning, distance learning, blended learning and pure virtual learning environments.To understand the basic education and corporate environment I spent 10 years as CEO at Star Schools (Pty) Ltd.
