Hello, my name is Atum Crockett. I am an artist, an athlete, critical thinker, a dancer, humanitarian, a music producer, peacemaker, a leader, teacher and most of all, a child of God. What drives me to pursue my interests, hobbies and life goals is my core value of creative expression, demonstrating integrity of character and a higher perspective of the reality around us through that expression. If one were to ask any of my associates, friends or peers to describe me, they would most likely say that I'm knowledgeable about health and wellness, a risk taker, one who serves others in need, a strong listener, someone who has great hand writing, a unique sense of humor and most of all, creative.Throughout my life I've been involved with various hobbies, interests and activities to learn, grow and enjoy in the institution of education. I discovered much about my love of expressing myself creatively through drawing, sculpting, music producing and dancing in my school life. I believe that being involved in any kind of creative process using one's imagination is essential for not only coping with reality, but helps one grow deeply to innovate and discover new and unique ideas. All of this is a blessing from the Lord.I also love being physically active as it is part of my personal mission/vision in life to embody being healthy and well in any and all circumstances. I was involved in track and field and cross country in high school, intercollegiate taekwondo, still go running along the beach, do calisthenics and dance. To be a good steward of one's body can truly set an example and inspire others.Professionally, in terms of career development I volunteered in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings for my undergraduate career in kinesiology focusing on physical therapy. I also volunteered at a charter school and still serve in church ministry to be more involved with my community in meaningful ways. Having such profound service experience establishing those connections paved the way for various job opportunities, but most importantly lead me to inspire and help others grow as leaders by example, all for God's glory.
