I am an international development professional with over 30 years experience having worked with key research institutions, the U.S Agency for International Development, the Commonwealth Foundation and Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK Branch (CPA UK). Currently, my work supports parliamentary democracy and good governance across the nine inhabited UK's Overseas Territories. Working with parliamentarians, parliamentary officials and wider legislative assembly stakeholders, external and internal auditors and election officials the work I do promotes good practices in financial oversight of public funds and good governance. I am an influential team player that can motivate, educate and bridge the diversity and inclusion gap to achieve attainable results by building long-term and mutually beneficial internal and external client/stakeholder relationships. I have excellent communication, numerical and analytical skills. I like to seize opportunities, whilst building long lasting trust, and mutual respect at all levels. My key interest and passion is in us all globally and collectively realising the achievements that lead to or indeed have led to improved collaboration of all citizens, civil society, the private sector and governments in addressing key issues for sustainable change. I have facilitated and led effective stakeholder engagement between civil society and key decision makers on education, health and gender which resulted in the successful delivery of key policy positions to influence change. I have a keen interest in promoting a country's trade and development agendas. I have previously managed trade capacity building programmes that were aligned to country specific trade agreements which, led to improvements in the engagement between private and public sector stakeholders and ultimately led to an increase in trade. I however, remain passionate about positive education outcomes for young children and have volunteered as a School Governor at a local Primary School in SE London.
