As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a Designer. My best friend and I started messing around with design programs like Photoshop at school, before we even knew what they were used for in the real world. That’s how I discovered Flash!When I was a student in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Flash was the Big Kahuna on the internet. It blew my mind - I could design and animate fully interactive websites without really having to code. So I got through Uni by making Flash websites for small companies.And that’s how after graduating I came to work at Tag Worldwide, and how I met Rich Worton. It turned out he loved Flash just as much as me. On my first day, our desks were next to each other and even though over the years we moved floors and offices often, we always sat and worked together.At Tag we both learned everything about advertising campaigns, and how Flash was awesome for creating animated banner ads. We also learnt that both of us love playing football.Much has changed since then. Flash is no more. We’ve both worked at various other places since. But Rich and I still play 5-a-side every week with ex-colleagues and clients.
